Students
Your total points are ranked against every medical student on the app. Climb the board one daily five at a time.
Class Year
Compare your performance against your classmates — like Class of 2026 — and see where you stand within your year.
Schools
Every point you earn counts toward your school's total, credited to the school you attend when you earn it. Schools are ranked against each other.
How schools are ranked.
The school leaderboard ranks medical schools by the points their students earn, along with how many students are actively competing.
How points work.
- Every correct answer earns 5 points. Incorrect answers earn 0 points.
- With five questions a day, you can earn up to 25 points daily.
- How quickly you answer does not affect your score.
- A new quiz goes live every day at midnight Pacific. Answer at least one question a day to build your streak; miss a day and it resets to zero.
- Monthly totals reset on the 1st of each month, and yearly totals reset on July 1 at the start of the academic year (both Pacific Time). Your streak carries over.
- Points count toward the school you attend when you earn them. Changing schools later does not move past points.
Rankings reflect activity on Scrub Battle only. Individual results are visible on leaderboards within the app by username; medical schools are shown by name with aggregate point totals.
