What's inside.

Daily clinical questions

Five high-yield, case-based questions released every day, built for focused review rather than another marathon QBank session.

Immediate explanations

After each question, review the correct answer and why the other choices are less appropriate — so a wrong answer becomes a lesson.

Scoring and streaks

Every correct answer earns 5 points, up to 25 a day. Answer at least one question daily to keep your streak alive. Your dashboard tracks accuracy, total points, and consistency.

Competitive leaderboards

Compare your performance across all users, your class year, and your medical school. Every daily score contributes to the standings.

Progress by specialty.

Category Performance breaks down your accuracy by specialty — from Internal Medicine and Surgery to Psychiatry, Biostatistics, and Ethics — for the month or the academic year, so you can see your strengths and the subjects to revisit.

Know where to focus next. Scrub Battle: CK category performance screen showing 65% overall correct with accuracy by specialty.

Questions, answered.

What is Scrub Battle: CK?

Scrub Battle: CK is a daily clinical knowledge quiz application for medical students, available on iOS. Students answer five high-yield clinical questions each day, review immediate answer explanations, and compete through leaderboards with other students, class years, and medical schools.

Who is Scrub Battle for?

Medical students — particularly third- and fourth-year students on clinical rotations who want a short daily habit of clinical practice alongside their larger study systems.

How does the daily quiz work?

A new set of five case-based clinical questions is released every day at midnight Pacific. After each answer, you immediately see the correct answer and an explanation of why it is correct and why the other choices are less appropriate.

How does scoring work?

Every correct answer earns 5 points and incorrect answers earn 0, for a maximum of 25 points a day. How quickly you answer does not affect your score. Points add up to monthly totals (reset on the 1st) and academic-year totals (reset July 1), which set your position on leaderboards for all users, your class year, and your medical school. Answer at least one question a day to build your streak; miss a day and it resets to zero.

How do school leaderboards work?

Every student's daily performance contributes points toward their school's total. Schools are ranked against each other on a dedicated leaderboard.

How much does Scrub Battle cost?

The app is free to download. Full access to the daily quiz, explanations, progress tracking, streaks, rankings, and leaderboards requires an active auto-renewable subscription. Eligible new subscribers may receive a 3-day free trial. Subscription pricing is displayed by Apple before purchase.
